Life isn’t a card game.
So why are you playing it like it is?
The cards are neatly together in your hands,
Just waiting for the time to be put down.
The cards seem to resemble your life…
Have you noticed?
The King of spades looks more like your boss who had fired you a day ago.
The 10 of clubs resembles the electricity bill you forgot to pay.
The 5 of diamonds is what you stole from that lady yesterday.
The Ace of hearts that you broke was that woman you left behind without saying a word.
And last of them all is the joker you have on your right hand.
It looks like you right?
Just a simple man that only jokes around and refuses to grow older.
When will you ever learn that this isn’t a game?
But a life you should live through in a better way.
